In case you don't know.
Blood Water Mission is the 1000 Wells Mission started by Jars of Clay. They are in Africa doing work to raise money and help build fresh water wells to provide African Villages clean water.
Many of the natives living in these villages will spend all day making trips to gather water. Most of the time they are only able to make two trips a day and still get back home very later in the evening. Did I mention those two trips are to gather dirty water from the swamp or river? I'm sure all of you know that Africa has the highest rate of HIV/AIDS in the world, and the dirty water they drink carries germs and bacteria that only makes it worse and causes death. Clean water can and will help countless numbers of African people survive and live better. Just by donating $1 you can provide clean water for one person for a year.
You can donate here... www. bloodwatermission. com
Also, Miguel and I are playing an acoustic show at VINO 100 here in Houston on March 18th to raise money for the cause. The show is 21+ considering it's a wine bar so those of you who can make it out please come join us and have a nice glass of wine.
Hope to see you then!

UPDATE!
Hey guys!
So we have a lot going on and quite a few shows to prepare for. I hope you are excited and I hope to see you all at one soon! We are getting Steven caught up on everything and so far it seems to be going very well. We just played and amazing show with Eyes Set To Kill in which Steven, along with the rest of us, tore it up! It was definitely a fun show, especially with the quick "photo shoot" we had out back! Thank you to all of you that came out to support us.
My mind is pretty boggled right now with the new album. I have been doing lots of reading and writing for it. By the way... Mom, if you read this, I left those sci-fi books at your house and I want them. Oh, and I love you! The process is somewhat slow right now, but a very creative one. We have learned that as we grow and experience things so does our music. We want to create something that is not just music for you to listen to, but also something you can connect with. Something you can read, study, and analyze. We tend to find that we love the music we listen to a whole lot more when we find what the artist was writing about. I think it gives us a personal connection and helps us relate with the artist, and that is exactly what we want to do... relate with our fans.
Look for a lot coming up and an '08 tour!
Until next time!
